What's up fellow modders. You're about to find out how to do an incredibly simple mod, but one that might just make your life a bit easier. If it doesn't make your life easier, it'll just look cool (which is what modding is about anyway, not so?)

So, what we're going to do now is wire a switch to your optical drive (be it a CD-RW, DVD-RW, whatever. It doesn't matter what TYPE of optical drive it is). This switch will control the drive's tray, and pressing the switch will open and close the tray. You can mount this switch anywhere you choose on your case.

Here's what you're going to need:

• An optical drive
• Some thin wire
• A Soldering Iron
• A switch
• Cable sleeving (optional)
