Project: Epiphany > Power Supply > Bottom Junction Box

While i was planning, i realised that the power junction boxes at the top of the case would not be able to power everything i wanted them to, as i couldn't make enough points where the power could leave them. So i was forced to add another power junction box. I decided to put it at the bottom of the case, at the back. This would allow the cables in the case to be more evenly spread out as well.

After making all the points where power could leave the box, and adding the female 3.5mm jacks and some shower hose just to see what it looks like, here was an idea of what it would look like when it was done:

This is what the wiring inside the box looks like:

All of the female 3.5mm jacks supply 5V, and the two shower hoses supply 12V and 5V (a full molex set).

Once i had wired all the junction boxes, i needed to get this whole PSU setup running. A friend of mine from the PCFormat forums here in South Africa, Samaya, helped me out with this. Thanks Samaya, i appreciate it man!

Once he had tested it to make sure it wouldn't fry, i booted it up and tested it a bit:

Perfect.
