The moment i saw the EEE PC, i was absolutely in love with it. Shortly thereafter, pages started surfacing of guys that installed touch panels in their EEE PC notebooks. Now, while touchscreen capability isn't entirely necessary, it's just too cool not to do.

So, the EEE:

These are the touch panels. I ordered these from Hong Kong. One for myself and two for a friend of mine:

This is the touch panel's controller:

It was far too long, so i did some modding:

Since i don't use the webcam, i decided to take it out and use the webcam's USB port for the panel:

Panel installed (the protective layer is what makes it look so dull. That layer came off before i finished the mod):

All done. Now it just needs to be closed up:

All i did then was close it up. Now i have a touchscreen panel in my EEE. Easy, efficient mod.
